Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) Fluid

Recently, IPH commissioned a modern CAPD Fluid Plant, with a capacity of production of some 50,000 bags in a year. Currently, the IPH conducting clinical trials of the product in close collaboration with general and specialized hospitals and institutes. It is aimed to supply the CAPD Fluid bag to the patients at free of cost or at a subsidized rate. Furthermore, it will save foreign currency, is being spent for importing CAPD Fluid bags. It will also save patients’ time and hospital occupancy rate as it is a home-based self service dialysis method.
